My name is Andrew Upton and I began this company in the last several months of 2023. I got the idea of the business when traveling this summer and thought it would fit into the essence of Salt Lake City.

The build was completely hand done and had a lot of room for imagination. I would be willing to bet you will not see another one like this! My father came out from my other home, North Carolina for the barrel build. We spent nearly two weeks of planning, routing, and hardware store runs together just to shape the barrel. My mother has been backing me up with tips on the business and helping me with legalities. I would not have been able to do it without them!

This sauna uses a top of the line liquid propane stove, hand selected redwood, and a tandem axle trailer that can take it all anywhere desired. If you don’t have a place to park it at your residence, we can get you a wonderful venue site like Big Cottonwood Canyon or at one of the many parks looking up at the Wasatch mountain range.

While saunas are certainly beneficial to health in moderation, Salty Saunas is not only focused on that. We want you to have a memorable time, smile, and enjoy the time spent with others inside.
